The Scarecrow Project, Go Organic Festival 2005
Victoria Park Racecourse, 24th- 25th September

The Scarecrow project involved schools and kindergartens making scarecrows for display at the Go Organic Festival. This project, funded through an Adelaide City Council's Arts and Living Culture Grant, included preliminary workshops and teacher notes with guidelines for making a great scarecrow.

Adelaide-based environmental sculptor Evette Sunset installed more than 50 scarecrows in interactive tableaus, providing an entertaining highlight of the Go Organic Fair.
